Please note that during the COVID-19 pandemic our doors will be physically closed but we are very much still open to patients who need to be seen. A member of the clinical team will call you to advise. Opening hours for contacting us remain the same. If in any doubt, please call our surgeries to be advised or use eConsult for non-urgent conditions or admin queries.
The doctors revise their surgery days every year in January. For a full list of surgery days please ask at reception.
Phone lines are open from 8.30am to 6pm at Stratton, and 8am-6pm at Holsworthy, diverting to emergency lines thereafter run by the out-of-hours services. Reception is staffed until 6.30pm although doors will be closed at 6pm.
Hatherleigh Medical Centre does not have a direct dial number. It is open from 8am-6pm but is closed between 1-2pm. If you wish to speak to staff at Hatherleigh, or book an appointment, please call 01409 253692. The Holsworthy hub handles and directs all their calls.

Our Stratton site currently opens from 8.30 to 6.30. Holsworthy and Stratton remain open throughout the day.
We offer some early appointments with doctors at our Holsworthy site, and at both sites for nurses, should you require them. Please ask at reception for availability.

You will be offered a call from a member of our clinical team to advise. For non-urgent conditions and admin queries, sick note requests etc. please use eConsult.
The practice offers appointments from 7:40am, Monday to Friday at our Holsworthy site. These appointments may be with a Doctor or a Nurse, and can be booked in advance by telephone or using the online booking system.
Also at Holsworthy we offer Improved Access appointments for our Devon patients on a Tuesday and Thursday evening until 8pm, and alternate Saturdays from 9am-12.30pm. These appointments are pre-bookable and a mixture of face-to-face and telephone consultations. Please be aware that we do not operate a walk-in service during these hours and you will be directed elsewhere if you haven't booked in advance.
COVID 19 - during the current lockdown we are not offering evening or Saturday clinics.
Our nurses are also available for urgent appointments.
We offer a Minor Injuries service at our Holsworthy practice for injuries that have occurred in the last 48 hours. Please call 01409 253692 to be advised.
Our Stratton practice is located next door to Stratton Hospital that operate a Minor Injuries Unit running 8am to 10pm 7 days a week. Please call Stratton Hospital on 01288 320100 to be advised.
There is a full Out of Hours emergency GP service available to patients registered with our group even when our two sites are closed.

Always call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
If you have to contact the Out of Hours service through Devon Docs, Kernow Health or NHS 111 and you are advised to be seen at a treatment centre you may have a choice where you are seen. Please ask for your options at the time.
