The flu season has run very differently this year due to social distancing and current guidelines set out by Public Health England for all Medical Centres.

The following patients are eligible and able to book in (this will be extended when we are informed about our vaccine supply dates for other ages and groups):

  • Over 65s

  • Pregnant ladies

  • Carers (providing they are registered with us as a carer)

  • Patients with chronic diseases

  • Asthma patients using an inhaler currently

Although we have conducted our main Saturday clinics we do have availability for those in the qualifying groups. Please ring to be advised.

Children's flu vaccinations will be provided at school for children aged 4-11. We will be running clinics for 2-3 year olds and those children aged 12-17 who fall into one of the at risk groups. We will be in touch with parents once we have received the vaccines.

Patients aged 50-64 will be invited in for vaccination once our deliveries of vaccine have arrived. We will ensure that our patients are kept informed via social media sites about dates of clinics. Patients do not call in about this just yet.
