Test Results

When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results.

Results are checked every day by your GP, or one of the GP team if your own GP is not available. If there is any need for follow-up, the doctor will make arrangements for you to be contacted.

We no longer give out test results over the phone or by appointment. If you wish to view your recent blood test result then why not download the NHSApp (available free from the IOS store or Google Play Store) or access via your Systm1 online account login. Once you have registered with these services and been verified, you will have full access to all your recent test information.

In the rare instance that you do require further information about a specific test result, or wish to discuss them further, then please visit our website homepage and contact us using our accuRx service, available 24/7.

Our Patient Services Advisers are not qualified to comment on results therefore it is your responsibility to check them.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect our clinical staff will only give out results to the person they relate to, unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them and formal arrangements are in place to share information.
